365:32 A new extension

We had a little walk around the old industrial heritage of Sheffield today, starting with a wander down the canal towpath and then back to the car along the Five Weirs Walk. Not far out of the city centre we came upon this sight. The newer building was actually connected to the old one. I don’t know why this is so, unless they are intending to renovate the old building at some stage, but it looked a little incongruous.

The canal towpath was quite rundown, lined with lots of disused buildings, once thriving businesses.

On one stretch of the Five Weirs Walk, we came across a flock of white geese, probably of the escaped farmyard variety
