365:18 The Deep

We did manage to get out, despite waking with yet another migraine and sickness. I did improve a little quicker from this one, although I have felt a bit off for most of the day. Anyway, we had a drive to Beverley, East Yorkshire, where we had a little wander around the town and a look at the minster.

This was followed by a visit to the old docklands area of Hull that has had some vast regeneration improvements over the past few years. One of the new attractions is The Deep, an aquarium and underwater discovery centre. We didn’t go in there, being on a bit of a budget at the moment. We managed to find some free parking nearby and walked along the waterfront pathway to get a good viewpoint.

We then drove along to the Humber Bridge, but by that time we were very tired so we carried on home. There was a nice sunset but no suitable place to stop to capture it, so that will be for another time.

  1. Glad the migraine isn’t quite so bad. Horrid things – I used to get them a lot; interfered with life too much!!

Your first picture is stunning. The amount of detail and sharpness is wonderful. Lovely!!

  2. and where are the pictures of the Minster??? St Mary’s church in Beverley is wonderful as well

    • Well, I wasn’t feeling too lively at the time. It was lucky I managed to summon up the energy to take these images!
